IIPM appoints Jonathan Kerr to its council

The Irish Institute of Pensions Management (IIPM) has appointed WTW director and senior consultant, Jonathan Kerr, to its council.

Kerr is an associate of the IIPM and also holds its QPT qualification. The IIPM said it looks “forward to working closely with Jonathan as the IIPM continues to evolve and lead in the pensions management education space”.

He has over 25 years of experience offering pension administration and consultancy services to both defined benefit and defined contribution corporate clients. He holds a BA Degree in Business Studies, is a graduate of the Diploma in Financial Planning from IOB, is a qualified financial adviser, retirement planning adviser, specialist investment advisor and holds the designation of QPT (IIPM) having completed the IIPM Law and Governance Programme for Trustees.

His appointment follows the departure of its past president, fellow of the institute and council member, PJ Buckley, who has stepped down from the council after more than a decade of offering his time and guidance to the Institute.

“Everyone at the IIPM would like to thank PJ for his contributions and leadership over the years and wish him well,” the IIPM said.
