Elo appoints Carl Pettersson as CEO

The board of directors of Finland’s Elo Mutual Pension Insurance Company has appointed Carl Pettersson as the company's new CEO.

Pettersson, who will take up his position in autumn 2021, will join from Veritas Pension Insurance, where he is currently president and CEO, a role he has held since September 2017. He has also previously worked for Aktia Bank.

Commenting, Elo chairman of the board, Antti Aho, said: “Carl Pettersson has strong expertise in the financial, investment and occupational pension sectors, as well as evidence of effective management in a regulated business environment. He has the experience and know-how to lead Elo as the company moves into the next strategic period.”
