Denmark's PFA elects Lars Sandahl Sørensen to its Board of Directors

Danish pension company PFA has elected the Confederation of Danish Industry CEO, Lars Sandahl Sørensen, to its Board of Directors at an extraordinary general meeting.

Sørensen succeeds Kim Graugaard, the Confederation of Danish Industry former deputy CEO, who has been a member of PFA's Board of Directors for seven years.

The replacement follows his retirement from the Confederation of Danish Industry and is a natural part of the ongoing renewal of the Board of Directors.

Sørensen will become a representative on behalf of the employers and has significant board experience.

Commenting on the appointment, PFA chairman of the board of directors, Kim Duus, said: "With Lars Sandahl Sørensen, we get a strong business profile on the board. He has in-depth knowledge of the conditions of companies and the development of the labour market, and it is knowledge that is important to PFA.

“His experience and skills will contribute to the further development of PFA in the coming years.”

Adding to this, Sørensen commented: “As Denmark's largest pension company, PFA has a crucial responsibility for society, companies and the personal finances of many Danes.

“Therefore, I look forward to continuing the historic representation of DI's top management on the Board of Directors and, together with the rest of the Board, creating even more value for customers by ensuring the company's further development in line with the needs of the labour market."
