Swedish government appoints Gunnar Larsson to FI board of directors

The Swedish government has appointed Gunnar Larsson as a new member of Finansinspektionen's (FI) board of directors, effective from 1 July 2025.

He succeeds Cecilia Renfors, who requested to be relieved of her duties.

Larsson is a former director general of the Swedish Consumer Agency and the Swedish Board of Financial Services.

His appointment to the FI board is valid until 30 June 2028.
