Danish pension provider PFA has named Sanne Hildegard Banggaard director of its private customer area, effective after the New Year.
She will replace Sara Guldberg, who has decided to pursue new challenges outside PFA.
Hildegard Banggaard, 39, joins PFA from Jyske Bank, where she was responsible for housing and lending services for private and private banking customers. She has also held roles at Nordea Danmark and YouSee/Nuuday.
PFA executive vice president, Camilla Holm, who has overall responsibility for PFA's commercial area, said the provider is “delighted” to welcome a “strong” profile such as Hildegard Banggaard as the new director of private customers at PFA.
"Sanne has a special eye for customers and comes with solid experience from the financial sector. She is sympathetic and a skilled leader who values creating results through collaboration, and there is a good match between Sanne and PFA's values,” Holm continued.
Holm added that she is confident Hildegard Banggaard will "quickly settle in well" and, together with her colleagues, contribute to strong results for PFA’s customer community.
Commenting on her own appointment, Hildegard Banggaard said she is “looking forward” to joining PFA and working with her new colleagues to “build on the good development at PFA and create customer experiences where pensions are relevant across age and life situation”.
Hildegard Banggaard graduated with a Master of Science in economics from Aarhus University and is a former elite handball player in Denmark and Germany.
