P+ appoints Sharam Mirza as head of advisory services

P+, the Danish Pension Fund for Academics, has appointed Sharam Mirza as its new head of advisory services, effective 1 September.

Mirza joined from Industriens Pension, where he held a similar role, and will be responsible for developing P+’s member advice offering while strengthening proactive and targeted engagement with members.

Commenting on his appointment, Mirza said: “The members of P+ trust us, and that is a huge vote of confidence that we must live up to every single day. We must take responsibility for our members and reach out to them with targeted and proactive advice when relevant.

"P+ is already well underway, and I am very much looking forward to building on the existing efforts and insights so that we can create an even better member experience in the future,” Mirza added.

The appointment means that Charlotte Lyhne, who has previously been responsible for both consulting and health and wellness, will now focus solely on the health area at P+.

P+ membership director, Lene Mortensen, explained the change: “Charlotte Lyhne has chosen to concentrate on the important work in the healthcare area at P+.

"With the appointment of Sharam Mirza, we want to strengthen our member focus and draw on his extensive knowledge and experience in creating good customer experiences.

"In the future, he will be at the head of our entire advisory department and will continue the good development of ensuring proactive and targeted advice for our 120,000 members, for whom Charlotte has helped to set the course.”
