Sweden’s MinPension has appointed Maria Humla as its new chief executive officer (CEO).
Humla joins from SPV, where she was also CEO, and will take up her new position at MinPension at the turn of the year.
Prior to becoming CEO at SPV, a role she has held since 2018, Humla had several management positions at SPV since joining in 2009.
Before SPV, she has held management positions within the Swedish Social Insurance Agency and the National Insurance Institute.
Humla has experience as a manager and leader in the Swedish pensions industry, where she has led transformation efforts of organisations.
She has also served on the board of MinPension since 2018 and been a member of its Audit and Review Committee since 2019.
“I look forward to working with the employees at MinPension to lead the work of continuing to develop this unique service that provides pension savers with comprehensive information about their pension and support for retirement,” Humla commented.
“We are far ahead in this area in Sweden and I see it as an important mission to continue to drive the work together with the state and pension companies to further increase the benefits for all pension savers.”
