Finland’s Veritas begins restructuring negotiations

Finnish pension provider Veritas has begun negotiations on a restructuring exercise that could result in up to 11 job losses.

The restructuring negotiations have been initiated in accordance with the Cooperation Act.

Veritas said it needed to evaluate its operations and organisational structure in relation to external environment changes.

The exercise will aim to ‘renew and streamline’ the provider’s operations and develop working methods and processes.

Around 50 employees and managers are involved in the restructuring negotiations.

Veritas’ preliminary assessment estimated that the planned changes could lead to employment termination for up to 11 people.

“The changes may also involve changes in work tasks and/or significant changes in employment conditions,” Veritas stated.

“The first negotiation meeting will be held on Wednesday 28 October 2026. The restructuring negotiations are expected to be completed by the end of November.”
