Lumera completes data migration for Nordea Life and Pension Norway

Lumera has completed the data migration of more than a million investment accounts for Nordea Life and Pension Norway.

Across several migrations this autumn, the investment accounts were transferred to Lumera’s cloud-based platform as part of its long-term core transformation programme for Nordea Life and Pension Norway.

The migration transferred 1.1 million investment accounts to the Lumera platform, with a total 1.3 million investment accounts now managed on the platform.

Lumera is collaborating with Nordea Life and Pension Norway on a multi-year transformation programme to modernise the administration of the company’s life and pension insurance portfolio.

This consists of a phased transition from legacy system to the platform, with the transition on track and set for completion by 2030.

“We are proud of our partnership with Nordea Life and Pension Norway and the continued progress we make together,” said Lumera Group CEO, Jonas Alfredson.

“These achievements demonstrate how Lumera’s platform and expertise can support clients through the transformation and modernisation of their core applications.”

Lumera has taken end-to-end responsibility across planning, development, implementation, go-live and hypercare.

Now the migrations have completed and hypercare has concluded, the investment account portion of the project has moved to an operational state.

“The successful completion of these migrations and the conclusion of hypercare mark an important achievement in our transformation journey with Nordea Life and Pension Norway,” said Lumera Norway managing director, Øyvind Grini.

“This result reflects the dedication, expertise and collaboration of the Lumera and Nordea teams who worked together to deliver a complex migration safely and successfully.”
