Italy's Fondaereo appoints new board of directors

Italy’s Fondaereo, the supplementary pension fund for air transport navigators, has appointed a new board of directors, which took office on 26 May 2025.

The new board of directors is composed of Marco Granone, Giovanni Platania, Giovanna Bellezza, Stefano Di Cesare, Tiziana Pampanini, Marco Marazza, Mario Iannaccone, Stefano Bellomo, Paola Pignataro, Alessandro Zanatta, Carlo Amati, Tonino Muscolo, Monica Mascia, Giuseppe Pantile, Claudio Genovesi and Antonio Frigerio.

The board of auditors is composed of Carlo Purificato, who serves as the president, Luigi Lausi, Adolfo Multari, and Titoflavio Scibetta.

The board in its first meeting elected Granone as president of the board of directors and Platania as vice president.

Granone commented: “Having exceeded eleven thousand members of the fund represents a source of pride for the entire category of flight personnel in the aviation sector.

“The commitments and new challenges that this board of directors is preparing to face aim to consolidate and expand the role of Fondaereo in the panorama of the broader welfare of the sector, in the interest and with the primary objective of contributing to the construction of a serene future for its members."
