Finland’s Veritas appoints Pia Lamberg as HR director

Finnish earnings-related pension provider, Veritas, has appointed Pia Lamberg as human resources (HR) director.

Lamberg joins from TietoAkseli Group, where she also served as HR director, and brings nearly 20 years’ experience in HR and personnel development, having held roles at Turun Tilikeskus, Ikea, Rastor and Teleste.

She said Veritas appealed to her as a “domestic and solvent pension company with a long history.”

“Veritas’ size and culture felt just right – agile and human enough,” Lamberg continued.

“Its values – courageously and honestly ourselves, constantly improving, and with an entrepreneurial spirit together – resonate strongly with my own.”

Lamberg added that the many “welcome to the house” greetings she received in recent months have reinforced her impression of Veritas as “full of warm-hearted and committed people, who take genuine pride in their work and their employer".

“I feel excited and grateful, and I look forward to becoming part of the team and working together," she added.
