Finland’s Ilmarinen appoints new members to Supervisory Board

Finnish earnings-related pension provider Ilmarinen has appointed three new members to its Supervisory Board.

VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland Ltd CEO, Kalle Härkki, Patria Oyj chief financial officer, Päivi Lindqvist, and Bravedo Oy CEO, Markus Oksa, were all appointed at the pension provider’s annual general meeting (AGM) on 24 March 2026.

In addition, Supervisory Board chairman, Ilkka Hämälä, stepped down from his position and Finnair CEO, Turkka Kuusisto, took over as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board and the Election Committee.

Ernst & Young Oy was re-elected as Ilmarinen’s auditor. Antti Suominen, APA, will continue as the lead auditor.

Ernst & Young Oy also acts as the verifier of the sustainability report, with Antti Suominen, KRT, serving as the lead sustainability reporting auditor.

During the AGM, it was decided to increase the annual and meeting fees for the Supervisory Board. In 2026, the Supervisory Board chair will receive €6,380, vice chairs €4,730 and members €3,150.

The meeting fee is €700 per meeting, and absence from a Supervisory Board meeting reduces the annual remuneration by €750 per absence.

Ilmarinen’s 2025 financial statements and consolidated financial statements were also approved in the meeting.
