Swedish govt appoints Anna Ekberg as member of FTN

The Swedish government has appointed Anna Ekberg as a member of the Swedish Fund Selection Agency (FTN), effective from 1 November 2025 until 31 October 2028.

Ekberg is a lawyer and head of unit at the Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency (Kammarkollegiet), responsible for procurement and contract law.

She is part of the management team for the National Procurement Services and brings extensive experience in public procurement. Ekberg has also served as an expert in several government inquiries on procurement law.

Ekberg will replace Anders Sjöborg as a member of the agency.

Minister for the Elderly and Social Security, Anna Tenje, said: “Anna Ekberg has extensive experience in procurement law and public administration.

“Her expertise will be an important addition to the board’s work in procuring funds for a secure and sustainable premium pension. I would like to thank Anders Sjöborg for his efforts and warmly welcome Anna Ekberg.”
