Swedish government appoints Annelie Roswall Ljunggren to SPV board

The Swedish government has appointed Annelie Roswall Ljunggren as a new member of the Board of the Swedish National Government Employee Pensions Board (SPV), with effect from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2028.

Roswall Ljunggren, the former director-general of the Swedish Agency for Public Management, joins the Board as part of a broader refresh of its composition.

In addition, Thomas Eisensee, head of research at the National Institute of Economic Research, has had his term extended for the same period.

SPV, which is governed by a Board appointed by the government, also confirmed that Pär Karlsson has been elected as vice-chair.

From 1 April 2026, the SPV board will be chaired by Lena Erixon, former director-general of the Swedish Transport Administration.

Other members include Andreas Nyström, Ellinor Samuelsson, Marcus Matteby and Maria Humla.
