The Swedish Pensions Agency has promoted Magnus Rodin to deputy director general.
Rodin, currently head of the agency’s Production Department, will be the new deputy director general and head of the Department for Government Management and Support. He will take office on 16 September and replaces Kajsa Möller.
He has been head of the Swedish Pensions Agency's Production Department since 2018. Before that, he worked as head of Region Central and Region Stockholm at the Swedish Migration Agency. Before that, he was employed as a professional officer in the Swedish Armed Forces.
“I am pleased to appoint Mr Rodin as my deputy and look forward to working with him in this new role. Magnus Rodin has great knowledge of the agency and has achieved fantastic results in reducing processing times and case balances, which is valuable in the new assignment. I am also pleased that Biljana Lajic has agreed to take over as head of the production department,” Swedish Pensions Agency director general, Anna Pettersson Westerberg, said.
