Sweden’s SH Pension expands offering with three new funds

Sweden's SH Pension has expanded its offering with the launch of three new funds from Handelsbanken, focused on global small-cap companies, Asia and healthcare, respectively.

The three new funds are Handelsbanken Global Small-Cap Index Criteria, Handelsbanken Asia Theme and Handelsbanken Healthcare Theme.

Over the past year, the pension provider has doubled its number of funds from seven to 14 and plans to continue adding “new high-quality” funds on an ongoing basis.

SH Pension explained that it has added three new funds to meet member needs.

The three new funds will complement the existing range of funds, with both passively and actively managed funds, and provide exposure to new markets and themes.

Commenting on the news, SH Pension head of business and marketing, Jens Lindberg Ankelstam, said: “Our new funds allow customers to build a more bespoke and comprehensive portfolio that also takes their interests and risk appetite into account.

“We continue to view the funds as a complement to our traditional insurance products, but we are keen to offer a comprehensive range for those who wish to save through funds.

“It feels particularly good that we are completely independent; this allows us to select and offer high-quality funds from various fund companies and managers based on our customers’ needs.”
