Sweden’s Kåpan Government Employees Pension Fund has appointed Lena Erikson as its chief financial officer (CFO), effective 12 October.
Erikson joins from AFA Försäkringar and succeeds Siw Hanérus, who is retiring.
Alongside her new role, Erikson will also serve as a member of Kåpan’s management team.
Commenting on the appointment, Kåpan CEO, Lars-Åke Vikberg, said: “I am delighted to welcome Lena to Kåpan. She has a solid background in the insurance and pensions sector and the expertise needed to continue developing our finance function in a secure and long-term manner.
“I would also like to extend my warmest thanks to Siw Hanérus for her valuable contributions to Kåpan and our savers. We wish her all the best as she enters retirement.”
