Sweden’s pension leaders in sustainable investments named

Folksam, KPA and SPP have been named as the leading pension companies for responsible and sustainable investments in Sweden.

A report by Max Matthiessen titled Responsible Ownership, reviewed the investments of Sweden’s largest occupational pension providers.

Analysis of the companies looked at how companies take account of responsible investments.

This year, stricter requirements meant that fewer players reached the top marks. In particular, included in the assessment of portfolios this year were equity derivatives, which affected the ratings of several companies, the report said.

Folksam, KPA and SPP took the joint top spot but at the opposite end of the chart was Kåpan.
