The Netherlands' SNS Reaal announces changes to Supervisory Board

Dutch pension fund SNS Reaal has announced that Tanja Stanoevska has been appointed to the fund’s Supervisory Board, following the departure of Helen Heijbroek.

The fund also confirmed a new division of roles within the existing Supervisory Board, to which Stephan Linnenbank was appointed as chairman in April this year.

After working for more than 25 years at major Dutch banks, Stanoevska has held various full-time positions in the pensions sector since 2017 at different pension funds.

Linnenbank has a background as a consultant at various consultancy firms, specialising in marketing, strategy, governance and technology.

He brought this outsider’s perspective with him when he became an internal supervisor at Dutch pension funds.

He is active in the sector through the Dutch Federation of Pension Funds (Pensioenfederatie) and VITP, from an internal supervision perspective. He joined the Supervisory Board of SNS Reaal in January 2022.

The fund thanked Heijbroek for her service in the last few years as chair of the Supervisory Board and for her enthusiastic commitment and involvement.
