Royal London Ireland has announced the appointment of Ger Tyrrell as pensions technical manager.
Tyrell has almost 15 years of experience in the pensions industry, most recently working at Zurich Life, where he progressed from pensions administration into the company's Technical Services team, ultimately serving as a pensions technical consultant for the past 10 years.
He began his career in the industry with Capita Life & Pensions in 2011 before transferring to Zurich Life in 2014.
Additionally, he is a certified financial planner and holds a Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning and Services from the Institute of Bankers.
