Pensioenfonds Stichting ING appoints new accountability body

Dutch pension fund, Pensioenfonds Stichting ING, has announced the appointment of a new accountability body, consisting of 10 seats – two on behalf of employed participants, six on behalf of pensioners and two on behalf of employers.

These appointments follow elections in which participants of ING Pension Fund choose their favourite candidates for the new Accountability Body, with an average turnout of 15 per cent. The new board will take up their positions on 1 July.

The members appointed on behalf of participants employed by ING/NN are Jenny Drost (ING) and Tom de Jonge (NN).

Meanwhile, those elected to serve on behalf of pensioners and participants out of employment (ING/NN) include two pensioners, Saskia Geraeds and Annelies Hart, two former participants, Cindy Lo-A-Tjong and Mirella Visser.

Additionally, two current pensioners who are also current members, Esther Grondijs and José Schoel, have also been appointed to serve on behalf of pensioners and participants out of employment.

Visser is also a current member in addition to being a former participant.

Those elected on behalf of employers are Remco Brand (ING), who is also a current member and Paul Lahaije (NN).
