PMT appoints Lenneke Roodenburg as director

Dutch pension fund PMT has appointed Lenneke Roodenburg as its new director.

Roodenburg has previously held various management positions and senior advisory roles in the pension sector, including at PGGM, Syntrus Achmea and Achmea Investment Management.

She has a strong track record in managing teams of professionals, providing strategic advice and managing complex cases and has an extensive knowledge of the Future Pensions Act (Wtp).

In her new position, which she starts on 1 April 2026, she will lead PMT's administrative office with the support of the management team.

She succeeds Inge van den Doel, who is leaving PMT after more than 14 years of service, including eight and a half years as managing director.

Commenting on the appointment, PMT chairman, on behalf of the employers, Terry Troost, said: “We are pleased with the arrival of Lenneke, who has the expertise and personal qualities to give direction to the phase that PMT is now entering. Her drive and enthusiasm fit in with PMT's culture.

"We look forward to working together to represent the interests of our participants, pensioners and affiliated employers and to continue to build on our strategic ambitions.”

Adding to this, Roodenburg said: “I think it is a great honour to be able to fulfil the role of PMT director. I look forward to getting to know the participants, pensioners and employers and to delve further into the metal and technology sector.”

Troost also thanked van den Doel on behalf of the board for her commitment and involvement in her time at PMT and wished her “every success and pleasure in the beautiful things that will come her way, both professionally and privately, in the coming years”.
