PFA gives customers access to sustainable pension product

Danish pension provider, PFA, is now giving customers access to a sustainable pension product.

PFA Klima Plus allows savers to choose how much of their pension savings will be invested in particularly climate-rich assets. The provider said it has worked over several years to integrate climate and environmental considerations, corporate governance and social responsibility when investing customer savings.

Commenting, PFA group investment director, Kasper A. Lorenzen, said: “Climate change can have major consequences for our future. It is a historic, global challenge that requires action now from politicians, business, organisations and individuals if we are to slow down development.

“At PFA, we are aware of the role we play in managing pension funds for approximately DKK550bn for our 1.3 million customers and 6,000 corporate and organisational customers. With PFA Klima Plus, we take yet another step to support a positive development, and we do this in a way that makes it easy for customers to choose how much of their savings to invest in extra-climate investments.”
