News in brief: 12 April

- Swedish public sector employee pension administrator Keva has launched a multi-channel campaign to highlight responsible pension security and a sustainable working life.

It aims to highlight the socially significant work done in the public sector and the adequacy of occupational pensions for future generations. The campaign runs from April to October and targets Finns aged 30-60.

- Swedish pension providers Skandia and SH Pension have released the dates of their upcoming annual general meetings.

Skandia’s annual general meeting will take place on Monday 6 May at 4 pm. Meanwhile, SH Pension’s annual general meeting will be held on Thursday 16 May.

- The Dutch scheme PFZW has published its annual update of its climate plan, which it has published since 2022.

The climate plan complies with the Paris Climate Agreement and indicates how PFZW will contribute to achieving a sustainable and liveable world for those with a pension in the healthcare and welfare sector. Its main goal is net zero by 2050.

- Ortec Finance has provided investors with the industry’s first integrated economic and climate management tool.

As part of this Ortec Finance has incorporated climate change into its economic scenarios. The company’s enhanced economic scenarios explore a range of climate-related economic scenarios and climate scenarios. This combination produces an advanced comprehensive management tool available to institutional investors.
