Sweden's minPension CEO, Cecilia Rosendahl Lavén, will leave her role, following an agreement between herself and the Board of Directors that a change of leadership is in the best interests of the company's future development over the coming years.
The process of recruiting a new CEO has begun, and until a permanent CEO is appointed, the company's deputy CEO, Johan Hellman, has been designated as acting CEO.
Commenting on the news, minPension chairman of the board, Christina Lindenius, said: “The service needs to be constantly developed in line with pension savers' expectations and rapid digital development.
“In this situation, the Board of Directors and Cecilia Rosendahl Lavén agree that new leadership will provide the company with better prospects for the future.
“The Board would like to extend its warmest thanks to Cecilia Rosendahl Lavén for her efforts and commitment during her time at minPension.”
Adding to this, Lavén thanked “all the knowledgeable and professional employees I have met during my time at minPension” and said she was “proud of the work we have achieved together”.
