Lumera appoints new members to its Board of Directors

Lumera has appointed two new members to its Board of Directors, Johan Sidenmark and Helena Holmgren.

Sidenmark has extensive experience in the Swedish pensions and insurance market, including 12 years serving as the CEO of AMF Tjänstepension. He also has a long-term perspective on governance, sustainability and value creation for savers and members.

Currently, he serves as chair of the Board of Euro Accident and chair of the Board of Directors of Sveriges Radio.

Meanwhile, Holmgren is the finance lead for Monterro, principal owner of Lumera. Her experience includes board assignments for listed and private enterprises.

Aside from Monterro-related appointments, she currently serves on the boards for Hexatronic Group and Micro Systemation. Helena is a former CEO and CFO of Pricer AB, and beyond her executive management and finance roles, she also carries broad experience from audit committee positions.

Commenting on Sidenmark’s appointment, Lumera Group CEO, Jonas Alfredson, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Johan Sidenmark to the Lumera Board. His deep industry expertise, strategic perspective and executive experience from large and complex pensions and insurance organisations are a highly valuable addition as our European growth journey continues.”

Adding to this, Sidenmark said he looks forward to “contributing my experience and working with the Board and management team to support the company’s continued progress”.

In connection with these Board appointments, Lumera has confirmed that Anders Lundström and Lars Stugemo will step down from the Board.

“Throughout their tenures on our Board, Anders and Lars have contributed their rich expertise, strategic insight and stayed committed. Their efforts have been significant for Lumera’s progress and positioning, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to them both,” Lumera chair of the Board, Peter Larsson, said.

Lumera’s Board of Directors now comprises Larsson (chair) and Board members Malin Björkmo, Kerstin Hessius, Holmgren, Duncan Howorth, Hans von Knorring and Sidenmark.
