KLP Eiendom acquires central property in Stockholm for SEK 1,480m

Norway's KLP has announced that its real estate company, KLP Eiendom, has purchased Härolden 44, also known as Fleming 7, in Stockholm, for SEK 1,480m.

Fleming 7 is located on the east side of Kungsholmen in Stockholm, near the property 'Klamparen', which KLP Eiendom already owns.

The building dates from 1964 with additions in 1989 and 2017 and has 12 floors, three of which are underground, with the takeover planned for early September 2025.

"The property fits well into KLP Eiendom's growth strategy, and the purchase contributes to increased exposure to Sweden and strengthens the geographical diversification of the portfolio," said KLP Eiendom CEO, Ellen Langeggen.

"With an attractive location in the centre of Stockholm, by the city's central station and Arlanda Express, the property is near public transportation.

"The building has flexible floor plans that allow it to compete with new buildings when it comes to offering open and efficient areas for tenants," she explained.

KLP Eiendom investment director, Tov Sønsterud, added: "We want to have a portfolio consisting of centrally located properties, and Fleming 7 thus fits well into our strategy.

"Despite the fact that this is our third major property purchase this year, we envisage investing significantly in the future as well."
