Insurance and Pension Denmark appoints new CEO

Insurance and Pension Denmark has appointed Kent Damsgaard as its new CEO, effective from 1 September 2020.

He is currently the director of Dansk Industri responsible for the political interests of the organisation. He has worked for Dansk Industri since 2016 and has held several roles.

Previously, he has also served as deputy director at ATP, and subject manager in the Ministry of Taxation, and chief economist the party, Left.

“We want Insurance and Pension Demark to continue its high professional level and at the same time play an even more active role in ensuring the industry has a good framework for delivering the best solutions to the individual Dane.

"To be at the forefront of this work, we believe Kent Damsgaard is the right one,” Insurance and Pension Denmark president, Laila Mortensen, said.
