Iceland’s Frjálsi Pension Fund elects three members to its boards

Iceland’s Frjálsi Pension Fund has elected three members to its Board of Directors and Alternate Board.

Five candidates were nominated for two vacant seats on the Board of Directors. Hólmfríður Einarsdóttir and Björn Ingi Victorsson were elected to serve three-year terms.

Additionally, two candidates were nominated for one vacant seat on the Alternate Board. Vala Valtýsdóttir was elected to serve a three-year term.

Voting for both the Board of Directors and the Alternate Board was conducted exclusively online, with the results announced at the fund’s annual general meeting, held at Arion Bank’s headquarters.

The annual general meeting also saw the board's report presented, along with the fund's annual accounts, the results of the actuarial review, and the investment policy.
