The Dutch pension fund for general practitioners (GPs), Huisarts & Pensioen, has appointed Krista Nauta as its new executive director of customer service, effective 1 September.
Nauta brings extensive experience from across the Dutch pensions sector.
Since 2021, she has served as general director of Pensioenfonds Wolters Kluwer, where she led efforts to modernise operations and prepare for the upcoming pension system reforms.
She also holds a non-executive board seat at ABP, the Netherlands’ largest pension fund, and is a member of the SER Topvrouwen advisory council.
In addition, she runs her own consultancy, Nu Voor Later Pensioenconsultancy.
In her new role, Nauta joins Huisarts & Pensioen’s general board, which comprises three executive directors, four non-executive GP directors, and an independent chair.
Alongside their strategic responsibilities, executive directors are charged with implementing the fund’s policy and managing the pension office.
Huisarts & Pensioen said Nauta’s “administrative expertise in the pension sector will be an asset” as it continues to serve general practitioners across the Netherlands.
The organisation is the pension provider for and with general practitioners, comprising the pension fund, the professional pension association and the members’ council.
