Doede Vierstra steps down as Supervisory Board member of PGGM N.V.

Dutch pension asset manager PGGM has announced that Doede Vierstra will step down as PGGM N.V. Supervisory Board member.

Vierstra has been a PGGM N.V. Supervisory Board member and chairman of the Audit, Risk and Compliance committee of the Supervisory Board since 2021.

He will officially step down from his position on 13 May 2026 during PGGM's annual general meeting. He is resigning from his position due to personal circumstances.

When Vierstra started his position on the Supervisory Board in 2021, he succeeded Miriam van Dongen and was given a four-year term in the role.

In his career, Vierstra has been CFO at Nuon, Wessanen and Friesland Foods, among others, was a member of the Supervisory Board at De Friesland Zorgverzekeraar, and is currently chairman of the Supervisory Board for Stedin Group, among others.

PGGM is currently searching for a successor for his position.
