Lægernes Pension, the Danish Doctors' Pension Fund, has made several updates to its board and senior leadership following its annual general meeting on 27 April.
The meeting saw the Lægernes Pension chairman of the board, Tina Øster Larsen, re-elected, and ECIT group chief financial officer, Thomas Dyhrberg Nielsen, elected as a new member of the Board of Directors as an expert in auditing and accounting.
The meeting also saw the election of Niels Kornerup as chairman, following Kornerup's nomination by the board of directors.
Kornerup is a partner and solicitor at the law firm Bech-Bruun and a specialist in business transfers and company law. He also has extensive experience in organising and conducting general meetings.
Additionally, two candidates signed up for one of the seats as a medical member of the board: Doctors for the Climate and current board member, Ulla Hansen, and the Association of Retired Doctors, Carsten Hædersdal.
Ulla Hansen received the most votes and was re-elected for a two-year term.
