Danish pension association partners with Copenhagen Fintech

Insurance and Pension Denmark has joined Copenhagen Fintech as a strategic partner, with its CEO Kent Damsgaard assuming a position on the board.

Copenhagen Fintech is an organisation that supports the Danish fintech industry and has a goal of making Copenhagen one of the leading fintech hubs in the global financial services industry.

It brings together the public and private sector and has a co-working space, the Copenhagen Fintech Lab, which houses up to 50 fintech startups.

Damsgaard as a member of the board of Copenhagen Fintech will help to set the direction for Copenhagen Fintech's work in areas that are crucial for the insurance and pension industries and their customers. He said the partnership will be for the benefit of both its members and their customers.

Copenhagen Fintech CEO, Thomas Krogh Jensen, said: “We are pleased to have Kent Damsgaard on the board of directors and Insurance and Pension Denmark on board Copenhagen Fintech.

“We have created a strong joint policy initiative, where we act as a hub for the many fintech startups, and we get more and more involved in the work to create the best possible framework conditions for digital innovation and the development of new fintech solutions in Denmark. And here it gives us greater impact and important knowledge to have Insurance & Pension with us.”
