Appointments update 7 March 2023

The board of the Sweden’s Third AP Fund (AP3) has announced the appointment of Staffan Hansén as its new CEO.

Hansén succeeds Kerstin Hessius, and was previously CEO of SPP Pension & Försäkring and an executive management member of Storebrand Group. He has many years of experience in leading asset management organisations, having previously also been CEO of Storebrand Asset Management.

Denmark’s PFA has named Ole Krogh Petersen as its new group CEO.

He joins PFA from Danica Pension, where he was CEO. Petersen was also previously COO at Danica and had held several senior positions at Danica and SEB Pension. Prior to this, he was a lawyer for 10 years, most recently at Kromann Reumert.

Sweden’s Alecta has appointed Henrik Gade Jepsen as its new head of asset management.

Previously, Jepsen worked at Danske Bank A/S as its head of asset management and spent 17 years at Denmark's largest pension fund ATP, including five years as head of asset management. His most recent role prior to joining Alecta was as senior advisor at QBlue Balanced.
