Swedish pension company AMF has announced that its head of equities, Anders Oscarsson, will leave the company at the end of September.
Oscarsson has worked at AMF for 16 years and said that after many “fantastic and meaningful” years at AMF, he has chosen to “take the next step” in his journey.
“It has been a time filled with development, close collaborations and invaluable experiences – and I feel great gratitude and pride for everything I have been able to help build together with my employees,” he said.
“AMF has been more than a workplace; it has been a place where I have grown both professionally and personally. Now I look forward with curiosity and anticipation to what the next chapter has to offer.”
AMF Fonder CEO and head of asset management, Katarina Romberg, commented: “I would like to extend a heartfelt and warm thank you to Anders for his efforts during his 16 years at AMF. With great professionalism, commitment and heart, he has helped shape our asset management to what it is today.
“In every role he has had, Anders has been an inspiring force and a strong voice for the capital we manage – always with AMF's best interests in focus.”
Romberg said AMF is “pleased and grateful” that Oscarsson will continue to be part of AMF during a transition period, representing AMF on several nomination committees and boards.
