ABP reappoints Harmen van Wijnen and Yolanda Verdonk as executive directors

Dutch pension fund ABP has reappointed Harmen van Wijnen as chairman of the executive board and Yolanda Verdonk as executive director pensions, with both appointments taking effect from early 2026.

Both Van Wijnen and Verdonk have served in their current positions since the beginning of 2022, and, as executive directors, they are responsible for the day-to-day management of the fund and maintain external contacts.

ABP’s board is made up of executive directors, non-executive directors and an independent chairman. The non-executive directors represent ABP’s employees, employers and pensioners and are responsible for internal supervision.

Jack Julicher is the temporary executive director of investments, and ABP is in the process of finding a successor for him.
