Dutch pension fund PMT has completed elections for its Accountability Body, with the elected members set to serve a four-year term.
Elections for the employee and pensioner seats have concluded, resulting in the appointment of seven employee representatives and the election of five pensioner representatives. One employee representative seat remains vacant.
Of the seven members of the Accountability Body elected on behalf of the employees, three are part of the Active Participants’ Interest Group for Metal and Engineering. These three members are Leo Rolf, Joshua Tourrich, and Wilfried de Waal.
Meanwhile, Noortje Oudshoorn, who has also been elected as a board member on behalf of the employees, is part of the Active Participants’ Interest Group.
In addition to these four members, two representatives of trade unions, Rudy Kleine (FNV) and Carl Holtrop (CNV), were elected as members on behalf of employees. And the final member, Sander Klaassen, will serve in a personal capacity on behalf of employees.
Meanwhile, of the five members who were elected on behalf of pensioners, Anita Wieman and Tineke Kamstra will serve in a personal capacity. Sjef Marcelis is part of the Association of Pensioners PMT, and Jos Broeren (FNV) and Evert Geul (CNV) are part of the social partners and representatives of pensioners.
PMT confirmed that out of the three seats available for representatives of employers on the Accountability Body, J.A. Vaas and E. Helwerda were appointed by the Federation of Employers in the Engineering Sector, leaving one seat still vacant.
The fund explained that one employee seat has not yet been definitively filled due to an ongoing appeal, but will be filled once the appeal is concluded. It also confirmed that the vacant employer seat will be filled shortly.
This is a formal update of an announcement made earlier this year.
