Alecta appoints Magnus Tell as equity manager

Sweden’s Alecta has appointed Magnus Tell as its new equity manager with responsibility for equity analysis and equity management.

Tell joins from Sweden’s AP3 where he is currently head of equities. He has also held roles at, among others, ABG Sundal Collier, where he was responsible for the equity strategy. He has also been manager and strategy manager at Deutsche Bank and Arrowgrass Capital Partners in London and New York.

"I am very happy that we have now recruited Magnus as the new equity manager. His competence and leadership qualities will help strengthen the organisation and rebuild trust in Alecta's asset management," Alecta CEO, Peder Hasslev, said.
He will take office no later than November 28.
