State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT) has been appointed by Industriens Pensionsforsikring A/S (Industriens Pension) to provide investment analytics services for the fund’s private equity investments. Across private equity, infrastructure and real estate, Industriens Pension has invested in more than 125 private funds.
Citigroup has announced that its Global Transaction Services business has been appointed by the Caisse Centrale de la Mutualité Sociale Agricole (CCMSA) to provide an overseas payment solution for farmers’ pension scheme. Citi will work with CCMSA to process 2.8 million annual, multi-currency payments to overseas pensioners for a total annual amount of 300 million euros in 89 countries.
AMP Capital has received an investment allocation mandate from Merseyside Pension Fund for its European flagship fund, the Strategic Infrastructure Trust of Europe (SITE). AMP Capital deals with a range of infrastructure sectors including energy/utilities, transport and social infrastructure and has US$6billion assets under management. SITE was established in 2005 and invests in a portfolio of diversified infrastructure assets.
MSCI Inc. (NYSE:MSCI) have announced the launch of the MSCI Overseas China Indices. They will cover over 60 Chinese securities listed in the US and Singapore with a market capitalization of US$ 68bn. The indices provide investors with a more complete view of the China equity market.
HSBC Securities Services (HSS) has implemented its new fund administration infrastructure and operating model in Asia to help clients meet rising demands for transparency in the face of increasing market volatility and regulatory scrutiny. Two new US fixed income exchange traded funds (ETFs) have been launched by iShares, the ETF platform of Blackrock, Inc. (NYSE:BLK) which leverage the local portfolio management and trading experience of its US team. The iShares Markit iBoxx $ High Yield Capped Bond and the iShares Barclays Capital US Aggregate bond funds will provide investors with a choice of building blocks when they are constructing portfolios and allocating to asset classes.
