Laurent Crosnier has been promoted to the position of CEO of Amundi London Branch. He will retain his current title of CIO and continue to act in this capacity. From 2006 until 2008, Crosnier was head of inflation, duration and credit at CAAM's Euro Fixed Income and Credits department before becoming head of Euro fixed income and credit. In April 2010, he was appointed CIO of Amundi London Branch.
RBC Dexia Investor Services has appointed Cristiano Moruzzo as a director of relationship management in Italy. In his new role, Moruzzo will be responsible for developing and strengthening existing relationships with asset managers, pension funds, insurance companies and financial institutions. Previously, Moruzzo was head of operations and relationship management at Merrill Lynch Wealth management.
Philippe Lespinard has joined Schroders in the newly created role of chief investment officer (CIO) Fixed Income. Lespinard will take direct management responsibility for the global multi-strategy fixed income team and chair the global fixed income investment committee that covers all portfolios. He was previously a partner and head of absolute return strategies at Brevan Howard.
Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management has added Alexandre Touma to its French institutional sales team. He is joining from Robecco, where he was part of the institutional sales department dealing with retirement, financial institutions and companies.
F&C Investments has appointed Chris Brils as director, institutional high yield. He will join the company on 4 January 2011. Brils joins from Pall Mall Investment Management in London where he has been a senior fund manager and head of high yield since 2008.
Simon Thompson has joined Mercer as a principal and senior international consultant, specialising in international mobility consulting. Thompson has joined from International SOS, where he was corporate development director for Northern Europe. Mark Harris has joined Mercer's expatriate consulting team, as an international consultant, having previously held the position of development director for EEU in International SOS.
Anna Bochko has been recruited from Aon Hewitt as an international consultant at Mercer, and Anusha Vamadeva has been appointed as international analyst, having joined from the health and risk practice at HSBC where she was a consultant. Graeme Cook has joined the international group, as a consultant based in Belgium, having transferred from its health & benefits business in Singapore.
Ian Winship has joined the sterling fundamental fixed income team at BlackRock in London as a senior portfolio manager. He joins from Brevan Howard where he was head of absolute return product.
Susanne Sorge will be joining RWC Partners at the end of October. As business development manager for Austria, Germany and Switzerland, she will develop RWC’s business in these countries. Sorge joins from GLG Partners where she was responsible for business development in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Kleinwort Benson Bank has appointed Sally Tennant as chief executive, from mid-January 2011 onwards. Tennant joins from Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch, the Swiss private bank, where she was chief executive of its London-based private banking operation.
Principal Global Investors has appointed Philip Garcia as London-based head of client relationship management. Garcia will have overall responsibility for Principal’s client relationships and will manage the wider European based client service team. Before joining Principal, Garcia was director of client service for the EMEA region at T. Rowe Price.
Yvan Legris has strengthened Aon Hewitt as chief executive officer UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Andy Cox has been appointed CEO for Aon Hewitt in the UK and Ireland. Legris was previously president global consulting for Hewitt, while Cox was the managing director of Hewitt in the UK and Ireland.
Thanasis Petronikolos has joined Baring Asset Management as a director in the fixed income and currency team, responsible for managing exposure across the firm to emerging market debt and currencies. Previously, Petronikolos was a fund manager at RAB Capital.
