News in brief, product launches and mandates from this week

Bluebay Asset Management has launched a Private Lending business designed to facilitate the flow of credit to small and medium sized enterprises(SMEs) in Europe. It will offer new senior and subordinated loans to European SMEs for acquisitions, capital growth, restructuring and liquidity situations.

State Street Corporation has acquired Complementa Investment-Controlling AG, an investment performance measurement and analytics firm based in St. Gallen, Switzerland. Complementa provides services to banks, pension funds, insurance companies, asset managers and trustees as well as performance measurement and investment controlling for institutional and private investors.

BNY Mellon has extended its existing relationship with Eureko B.V. to provide global custody and value added services for group assets valued at €38 billion. BNY Mellon will provide fund and investment accounting, fund administration, regulatory reporting, performance measurement, compliance monitoring, transfer agency and cash management solutions for the Eureko group based in the Netherlands.

Nikko Asset Management Group (Nikko AM) has acquired DBS Asset Management Ltd (DBSAM) an investment management firm based in Southeast Asia. The deal increases Nikko AM’s assets under management by $7.9 billion to over $165 billion. As part of the transaction, Nikko AM’s investment products will be distributed through DBS’ network of markets in the Asia region.

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) has announced the launch of AXA World Fund Framlington Natural Resources, a global equity fund designed to capture the long term positive trends in commodity prices. The fund invests in companies operating in the energy, industrial metals, precious metals and soft commodity markets. The fund is a UCITS III compliant fund domiciled in Luxembourg.
