Investec Asset Management has launched the Investec Emerging Markets Multi-Asset Strategy which combines allocations to the company’s specialist EM debt and EM equity components in a single strategy. The strategy aims to capture the best opportunities in the emerging markets opportunity set and provides exposure to the growth potential of emerging markets with expected lower volatility than that of an equity-only approach.

State Street Corporation has been appointed by Fundsmith to provide fund administration, shareholder services and custody for its new SICAV UCITS feeder fund in Luxembourg. The financial service provider has provided the Fundsmith Equity Fund OEIC with custody, fund accounting, depository and portfolio trade execution solutions since its launch in 2010.

The Robeco Institution for Occupational Retirement Provision, PPI has been chosen by Nutreco, to administer its supplemental occupational pension schemes and early-retirement plans. The insurance risks will be covered by an insourcing partnership with Generali.

Kames Capital has moved into the Asian Investment Market with the opening of an office in Hong Kong. The investment management company will look at developing interest among Asian investors with its franchise in fixed income and in property.
