Mercer acquires Hammond Associates

Mercer has completed its acquisition of Hammond Associates, the US-based investment consulting firm focused on endowment and foundation clients.

The acquisition will be used by Mercer to build upon Hammond’s position as the third largest investment consulting firm serving endowments and foundations in the US.

Jeff Schutes, Mercer's US investment consulting leader said: “Hammond's extensive alternative research capabilities will bring additional depth and breadth to our global business. When we are competing in Europe and Asia for Endowment & Foundation or Sovereign Wealth Funds, Hammond's experience will be beneficial because of their research capabilities and depth of expertise.”
