Appointments Update

Threadneedle has appointed Neil Robson as fund manager in its global equities team and he will be lead manager on the Threadneedle (Lux) Global Focus Fund. Robson has over 20 years’ experience in global equities and joins from Martin Currie Investment Management where he worked as global portfolio manager. His appointment brings the global equity team to a total of eight.

Barings has appointed Tom Mann as an investment manager in its international and world equities team. Mann has more than 13 years experience in the fund management industry and joins from Aberdeen Asset Management where he was an investment manager in the European equities team. Prior to that he worked with Credit Suisse Asset Management in the European and EAFE equities team.

BNY Mellon Asset Management International has strengthened its team with the appointment of Scott Stevens as head of marketing where he will be responsible for all marketing activities within the EMEA and LATAM regions. Stevens will focus on international marketing, distribution strategy, knowledge and sales campaign management. He also has experience working as head of UK retail and institutional marketing at Deutsche Asset Management and led global wholesale and marketing teams at F&C Asset Management.

Serona Asset Management has appointed Vivina Berla as a senior partner and European managing director. With over 15 years’ experience in institutional and alternative asset management, Berla will contribute to the future growth of the asset manager, the formulation and implementation of its strategy and will also be a member of the investment committee.
