Appointments Update

Northern Trust has appointed Olivier Noel as deputy managing director of its Luxembourg Management Company which provides fund administration services to clients. Noel will be responsible for product development and new business integration. He joined Northern Trust in 2005 and was most recently head of transfer agency and shareholder services in Luxembourg.

Jeanne Duvoux has joined Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) as CEO and managing director of SGSS in Italy. She will actively pursue the development of SGSS’s activities in Italy and replaces Massimo Cotella who has joined the company’s executive committee to supervise sales and marketing activities.

Pioneer Investments has strengthened its plans for Asia with the appointment of Jack Lin as head of Asia and Middle East. He will position the company’s capabilities to large, sophisticated institutional investors and these will include sovereign wealth funds, central bank reserves and large state pension funds. Lin joins from Janus Capital where he worked as head of Asia Pacific and has also worked as an analyst and portfolio manager in Franklin Templeton’s emerging market group.

J.P. Morgan Asset Management has appointed Neil Moge as senior client advisor for UK and European strategic insurance sales. Moge will work with insurance clients and prospects across Europe to build customised asset management solutions with particular focus on Solvency II issues. He previously worked as investment director at RSA Insurance.
