Appointments Update

J.P. Morgan Asset Management has announced that Andy Lloyd has joined the firm as a senior institutional client adviser for the Nordic region. Lloyd will be responsible for continuing to build the company’s institutional presence in the region and joins from Alfred Berg/BNP Paribas Investment Partners where he was head of Nordic alternative sales and Danish institutional sales. Prior to that he spent 15 years at UBS in a variety of fixed income and credit sales positions.

Pictet Asset Management (PAM) has announced the appointment of Alain Caffort as a senior investment manager in the small cap equity team and will be based in Geneva. Caffort joins from Groupama Asset Management where he was responsible for a number of small/mid cap European equity portfolios and began his career as an analyst in 2000.

Collette Kelly has joined Exaxe as chief operations officer. She will continue to drive expansion by further developing the company’s software development and client delivery capabilities. Kelly spent almost 12 years with FINEOS Corporation in a variety of management roles including project manager in product development and development manager in product development.

Newton has announced that its current chief investment officer (CIO), Jeff Munroe, is to lead the company’s global equities effort. Munroe joined Newton in 1993 as a global equity manager and was appointed chief investment officer in 2001. With 24 years’ investment experience, he has also chaired Newton’s investment forum and co-chaired the Investment Oversight Committee.
