Huisarts & Pensioen appoints new accountability body member

Huisarts & Pensioen (H&P), the pension fund for general practitioners in the Netherlands, has elected Floris de Jong to its accountability body (VO), filling a vacant seat.

Rotterdam-based independent GP De Jong secured 46 per cent of the vote in an election held from 13–31 October 2025, which was open to all fund participants.

In total, 1,404 votes were cast, and De Jong secured 648.

He will complete a short training programme ahead of taking up the role on 1 April 2026.
