Ole Søeberg, Portfolio Manager, SKAGEN Funds
Ole Søeberg joined SKAGEN Funds as a portfolio manager in March 2011 to further strengthen the global and Norwegian equity fund SKAGEN Vekst. He is responsible for analysing existing and potential investments alongside a team comprising nine fund managers.
Søeberg has extensive experience in both global and Danish capital markets. He previously worked as Managing Director of the insurance company Tryg where he was responsible for Investor Relations since 2006. Prior to that, Søeberg was director of Investor Relations at TDC A/S, following positions at Alfred Berg and Carnegie in Denmark where he built up broad experience analysing global equities. He began his career at Copenhagen-based research firm Dansk Aktie Analyse. For the past four years Søeberg has been a member of the Board of Directors of SKAGEN AS. He stepped down from the Board to assume the position of portfolio manager.
Matthias Schieber, Fund Manager, Schroders
Matthias Scheiber is fund manager of the Multi-Asset investment team at Schroders. Schieber has 11 years of investment experience and joined from Aethra Asset Management were he was responsible for managing absolute return mandates and a hedge fund. Prior to this, he was tactical asset allocation portfolio manager and strategist at Fortis Investments.
Axel Schwarzer, Head of Asset Management, Vontobel Group
Axel Schwarzer will become the new Head of the Vontobel Group's Asset Management business unit on 4 May 2011, based in Zurich. A qualified lawyer, Schwarzer has had a long international career in Deutsche Bank's asset management business, where he was one of the driving forces behind the significant growth of DWS Investments Europe. He also played a pivotal role in DWS Americas (formerly Scudder) and led the successful turnaround of the business. Schwarzer was most recently a member of the Executive Board of DWS and of the Global Management Committee of DeAM (Deutsche Asset Management), where he was responsible for the management of strategic distribution partnerships.
Axel Schwarzer began his career at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt in 1988, where he held various strategic and operational positions in the areas of securities funds and asset management from 1990 onwards. In 1997, he was named Head of Distribution Support and later Head of Product Management of Deutsche Bank's Retail and Private Banking divisions. In 1999, he transferred to DWS Investments – one of Europe's largest providers of investment funds – where he was appointed Managing Director with responsibility for Marketing, Sales and Product Management. Before relocating to New York as Head of Asset Management Americas and DWS Investments Americas (formerly Scudder) in 2005, Axel Schwarzer served as European Head of Distribution of DWS and DeAM. In 2009, he was named Vice Chairman of DeAM as well as Global Head of Relationship Management at DWS Investments.
Per Ståhl, Sales Manager, State Street Corporation
Per Ståhl is sales manager for the Nordic region at State Street Corporation. Based in Amsterdam, Ståhl is responsible for managing business development activities for the Nordic region with a focus on institutional investors in Scandinavia, Iceland and Finland. Before joining State Street, Ståhl was director of global distribution and investment structuring for private equity firm Oxford Sustainable Group in Amsterdam. He was responsible for managing a global sales network and bringing targeted solutions to the institutional investment community and its distributors. Prior to this role, Ståhl was account manager with ING with responsibility for coordinating sales efforts for ING’s OTC derivatives business in Scandinavia, the Middle East and Ireland.
Anne Swift, Chief Investment Office, Hewitt Associates
Anne Swift is chief investment officer within Hewitt Associate's UK defined contribution (DC) team, with responsibility for Hewitt's DC investment platform services. Swift returned to Hewitt, where she was previously involved in the initial implementation of Hewitt's DC investment platform before joining
BlackRock, where she was a director within the account anagement group and investment officer for DC business.
