Paul O'Connor, Head of asset allocation in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Mercer

Paul O’Connor joined Mercer as head of asset allocation for Mercer’s Investment Management business in Europe, Middle East and Africa. He previously worked as a proprietary trader and strategist for Credit Suisse in London. O’Connor is responsible for the overall asset allocation strategy of Mercer’s clients’ portfolios.

Vincent Orlando , Director and Chief Executive Officer, Guardian Managers (UK) Limited

Orlando's appointment is seen as a move designed to extend Guardian's product capabilities, given his background as a senior investment professional with pan-European investment platforms of bulge bracket banks and fund managers, from which he brings over 14 years experience. Orlando joins from a £3bn+ English private equity group where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager responsible for European Funds. He was primarily involved in the asset selection, closing and managing of an investment pipeline located in Continental Europe.
