Alan Collins is scheme actuary at leading actuary and pensions administrator Spence & Partners. Collins, a qualified Scheme Actuary, joined the actuarial team in Glasgow from Mercer HR Consulting on January 5. Collins is a graduate of the University of Glasgow, where he attained an M.Sci First Class in mathematics and physics and the University of Edinburgh, where he attained a post graduate diploma in financial mathematics. Collins has particular expertise in buy-outs/buy-ins, accounting for pension costs, risk reduction exercises and mergers and acquisitions.

Denise Collis, non-executive director, Kinsey Allen International

Denise Collis is non-executive director at pensions headhunter KINSEY ALLEN INTERNATIONAL (previously known as GRS). Collis' most recent position was as Group Human Resources Director at FTSE 100 company 3i PLC. Previously she had been Partner and Head of UK HR at ERNST & YOUNG and a Group HR Head at STANDARD CHARTERED BANK. Collis continues her work as an Advisory Board Member to both Leeds and Exeter University business schools. She has over 30 years in Human Resources.

Raff Costa, co-head of marketing, GLG Partners

Raffaele Costa is the co-Head of Marketing at GLG Partners LP ("GLG"), He works alongside Emmanuel Roman, the firm's co-CEO, to develop and execute GLG's global product and distribution strategy. Raffaele is tasked with enhancing GLG's distribution through its expanding international franchise. He will also refine GLG's product strategy, developing and marketing new products in both the alternative and long-only space. Raffaele joined GLG as a portfolio manager specialising in US and European equities, before being made a Principal in 1998. Prior to GLG, he was at Goldman Sachs.
